On Sunday 6th December after a weather enforced layoff Bird Avenue was again reclaimed from the Ducks and seagulls for a great morning's rugby.
At home the the 2003/4 group entertained Wanderers and Bective in some tightly fought south Dublin battles. Everybody enjoyed themselves and it was great to be out again.
The 2002 group were away in Merrion road with Wanderers and sported the club colours with honour, with some great performances. In particulr some magnificent tackling by Marcus Tidey.
The 2001 group had a rest this week after their exploits on the main RDS pitch on Saturday. It was great that the Lansdowne first team managed to play their game before and after Dave Colberts charges starred. Harry Cullen scored a magnificent try.
The 2000s entertained Navan and overall the honours were even. Some great running and rucking are testimony to the progress these millenium babes are making.
The 1999s had training prior to a few matches coming up in the next few weeks and the 1998s beat a big suttonians outfit where the gale blowing down the pitch dictated the run of play. Again a great performance from Myles Carey who hobbled off the pitch only to make a lazerus like reappearance 5 minutes later.
